As I have talked about before, I am participating in the Visalus Showdown Challenge. As I am using the Body by Vi Shape Kit on the 90 Day Challenge, I am also making videos. I post the videos on the Showdown App for Facebook and also on my YouTube. I am making the videos to show my progress, to talk about my successes and failures and to show how Visalus, Body by Vi and the 90 Day Challenge has changed my life. As of right now there are 2,753 Total Channels, which means that almost 3,000 people have posted at least one video. Every person has their own channel. Everyday you can go to the leaderboard and see the top 100 videos of the week and every Monday the leaderboard resets for the week. Since I started, I have been in the top 100 every week. I am not always in the top 10, but I am always in the top 100. In October, they will take the top 100 channels and put them on another website. They will be voted on by the general public and also rated by Visalus officials and Ben Silverman, the producer of The Biggest Loser. Here is the explanation from the Showdown page:
“This October, the top 100 Channels based on community voting will advance to the SHOWdown Throwdown, and be narrowed down to the 10 winning videos by Community Vote (50%) and a ViSalus Judging Panel (50%) based on:
- Overall Transformation
- Story
- Video Quality
In addition to the primary Challenge Champion categories, the top 10 Challenge Channels with the highest votes will:
- Star in ViSalus’ online Challenge series co-produced with Ben Silverman.
- Join Challenge Champions on the Hollywood Transformation Vacation and walk the red carpet at your own Hollywood premiere!
- Be featured on newsstands all over North America in the January 2013 issue of The Challenge magazine.”
